"The benefits of volunteering are instantaneous!

The children's smiles and giggles warm my heart, and remind me of why I'm here."

"I always get more than I give.

If you want to do something wonderful for yourself, come be a volunteer!"

Anyone 14 years and older can be a Praying Hands Ranch Volunteer or donate in the following areas:

  • Office Work
  • Fundraising
  • Help with Grant writing
  • Hippotherapy programs
  • Equine programs
  • Horticulture/Craft programs and Sensory gardens
  • Small animal care

We are able to train volunteers helping with the Equine and Hippotherapy Programs regardless of experience. Here are some personal benefits you may gain when volunteering at Praying Hands Ranch:

  • A strong sense of accomplishment
  • An intimate bond between rider, volunteer, and horse
  • The joy of making new friends
  • Involvement with enthusiastic, unselfish, totally dedicated and committed volunteers
  • Learning new skills
  • Making a difference in the lives of others
  • Volunteers are able to observe first-hand how the lack of confidence is replaced with renewed self-esteem

Praying Hands Ranch currently needs volunteers for all class times.

Classes are held Monday - Saturday  You choose the hours and the days that work best for you.

Volunteers are the backbone of Praying Hands Ranch.

Once a year we have a volunteer appreciation banquet to show our gratitude. We honor our volunteers in the following groups:

1100 CLUB

The Praying Hands Ranch 1100 Club is a unique opportunity to provide financial support for therapeutic riding for special-needs clients.  Friends of Praying Hands Ranch can partner with us by supporting the ministry on a monthly basis in the amount of their choosing.

If 1100 people join us with a pledge of $10.00 (or more) per month, the result would be $11,000.00.  That's why we call it the 1100 Club!

Your donation could help pay for any one of the following for one month:

  • Feed two horses (Praying Hands Ranch has 21 horses)
  • Provide a partial scholarship for one of our 100 weekly clients
  • Pay the propane bill (to heat our indoor facilities)

Can you help us?

"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God."  Hebrews 13:16
